About The Tour
An idyllic paradise, an abode to regal tigers, shielded nests to numerous winged creatures, and a playground to colossal trunked elephants- Corbett National Park is the Masai Mara of India that hosts wildlife in all its glory and diversity.
The Jim Corbett National Park, located in the popularly known ‘land of Gods’ Uttarakhand, is also the land which abounds in rich flora and fauna. It is the first national park of India and is named after the renowned British hunter and naturalist Jim Corbett.
The Dhikala zone is one of the most densely populated tiger zones in Corbett with tigers thumping around and giving the boldest sightings. Gargantuan elephants and hog deers with their crowned antlers can also be spotted in the Dhikala zone solo or even in groups against the beautiful backdrop of the sal forest. Jim Corbett has also been recognized as the Eden Garden of national parks because of the vast stretches of grasslands and mix of the Terai forest. A grand wildlife voyage so rich and abundant with greenery, weaved with sal forests, watered by the Ramganga river, and embedded with white stones across the river bed, Corbett is a scene out of a photographer’s dream. Because of the rich flora of the forest, innumerable species of birds have created their nests here. For all the birders out there, the Corbett wildlife safari has something for you too, it’s the birders’ paradise.
Excitement will course through your nerves once you set foot in the Dhikala zone. Here you have the option to stay at a rest house within the forest. Your morning can start with an alarm call of Sambhar or spotted deer. Your midnight sleep can be interrupted by the roar of the tigers. And if you are extremely lucky, you might also spot a tiger from the rest house.
Pack your camera, put your game face on, and visit the land of roar & trumpets!

Why Us
-
Smart safari planning: We don’t just book safaris; we strategically choose the best zones, timings and conditions, tracking weather, light, fog, rain and seasonal forest moods to maximise meaningful sightings and storytelling frames.
-
Handpicked teams: We work with carefully selected guides and drivers (on choice) who understand wildlife behaviour and photography positioning. This coordination is what puts our jeeps in the right place, at the right moment.
-
Fewer people, more space: We limit safaris to just 3 to 4 guests per jeep, ensuring ample space for gear, comfort, and unobstructed shooting.
-
Early entry advantage: We aim to be among the first jeeps into the park because in the wild, timing changes everything.
-
Thoughtful stays: We choose well-located, premium lodges known for hygiene, service, food quality and proximity to safari gates so you rest well and stay focused.
-
Mentorship that matters: From live guidance during sightings to honest post-safari reviews, you’re constantly supported to make stronger images, not just more images.
-
Beyond photographs: You return with not just frames, but shared moments, stories, and memories that define the Savera experience.
Simply put,
Curated safaris. Fewer compromises. Deeper experiences.
That’s the Savera difference.

FAQS
I’m a beginner. Will this be too advanced for me?
Not at all. In fact, beginners often benefit the most. The focus is on learning in the field, understanding light, behaviour and composition. You’ll receive guidance at every step, while also learning by observing how others approach the same scene.
I’m a photographer, but my companion isn’t. Can they join?
Yes,absolutely. Non photographers are welcome. The way we position the vehicle, choose zones and read wildlife behaviour ensures a rich experience for everyone in the jeep. Since all arrangements remain the same, the cost is uniform for both.
What kind of wildlife sightings can I expect?
Wildlife is unpredictable, and no sighting can ever be guaranteed. What we do ensure is the best possible opportunity through careful zone selection, experienced drivers and guides and being in the right place at the right time.
I don’t have professional camera gear. Can I still join?
Absolutely. You don’t need high end equipment to benefit from this tour. Any camera with a telephoto lens works well. If you need gear, we can assist with camera and lens rentals at competitive rates or have them arranged for you at the destination.
I’m a solo female traveller. Is it safe?
Yes. Safety and comfort are taken very seriously on all our tours. We regularly host solo female participants.
Why isn’t travel included in the tour cost?
Participants join from different cities and countries, so travel plans vary. To keep things flexible, travel is not included. However, we assist with airport or railway station transfers. These are usually shared among participants unless you prefer a private vehicle.
What is the group size?
We keep our groups small, usually 7 to a maximum 11 participants + Mentor to ensure better learning and a more personalised experience in the field.
How physically demanding is the tour?
Safaris involve early mornings, long drives and time spent in the field. While not physically strenuous, it does require patience and adaptability.
How are jeeps and seating managed?
Participants are rotated across jeeps (if multiple vehicles are used) to ensure everyone gets equal exposure to different drivers, guides and perspectives.
Are meals and dietary preferences taken care of?
Yes. Meals are included as per itinerary, and most dietary preferences can be accommodated with prior notice.
Do you assist international travellers?
Yes. We regularly host guests from across the world and assist with planning, internal travel guidance and on ground coordination. Kindly get in touch
Can the tour be customized if the dates don’t work for me?
Yes. Private Guided tours and Customised tours can be arranged based on your preferred dates, locations and level of guidance required. You can choose to travel with or without a dedicated photography mentor.
Who can join this photography tour?
Anyone with an interest in wildlife and photography is welcome. Whether you’re just starting out or already experienced, the tour is designed to help you see, understand and photograph wildlife better.
